This fun, supportive 3-hour beginner friendly workshop introduces you to the world of voice over, giving you the confidence and tools to begin exploring the industry. No experience needed – just your voice and curiosity! 🎙️ Taught by Lewys Taylor, Lewys is an actor, professional voice artist, and dedicated industry coach who has over a decade of experience across all sectors of the voiceover industry. Lewys heads up our Voice Department at STAC Studio and co-runs STAC Studio Manchester, where he actively coaches actors on self-tapes, voice reels, and career strategy. Lewys is a trusted voice for global brands, including Google, Audible, Fanta, and Greggs (you may have heard him in their radio ads!). He has significant experience in the Video Game industry, including the titles Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes and Titan Quest 2. Having worked extensively in Commercials, Animation, Narration, Radio Drama, and Video Games, Lewys will provide a clear, versatile, and up-to-the-minute perspective on what it takes to launch your voice career today. Focused on bringing the best out of actors, Lewys trained as an Actor-Musician at Rose Bruford drama school - so he understands how to translate your acting skills into compelling voice performances and high-quality, professional self-tapes. In our workshop, you’ll learn what voice over really involves, how to use your voice effectively and key tips on how to navigate the voice over industry successfully.
